PERSONAL / COMPANY HISTORY

John’s history started in the Tri-Cities in 1970 when his family moved there from Grandview, WA. John attended K-12 in the Richland School District, graduating from Richland High School in 1987. He continued his education at Columbia Basin College receiving an AS degree in Engineering Technology in 1989.  Inspired by his college professors, he transferred his knowledge and degree to Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls, OR.  In 1992 he received a Bachelor of Science degree from OIT in Engineering Technology, Structural Option.  

John Fetterolf is currently a licensed Professional Engineer in Washington, Idaho, and Montana.

After 18 years in the engineering profession, doing everything from board drafting to being a branch manager, John founded JF Engineering, PLLC in September of 2011.   Depending on the client’s needs, John is able to assemble core design teams.  These teams have been made up of local and specialty disciplines.  JF Engineering is ready to assist their clients in fulfilling the vision and project requirements.
